Open Enrollment
The Open Enrolloment period for SILA is February 6th – the 24th. If you are interested in sending your child to SILA and do not live in the district, you must complete open enrollment paperwork during this time. Please note that if you are note a resident of the Shiocton School District, you will also have to complete an open enrollment for between February 6th – 24th. If you are currently open enrolled, you do not need to re-apply (your information will be renewed automatically). The Open Enrollment paperwork can be found at www.shiocton.k12.wi.us. Students will know by May 2012 if they have a spot for the 2012-2013 school year.
What is a Charter School?
The Shiocton International Leadership Academy (SILA) is a charter school. We are a tuition-free public school that works to ensure that students learn and master the traditional subjects taught in public schools; but in new individualized, and innovative ways.
